Some dogs just know when they are already home. Rye certainly did.

From the very beginning, Dylan Phillips and Katie Boyer welcomed little Rye into their home as a foster puppy. Somewhere between the puppy breath, the playful moments, and falling completely in love with her, they realized what so many foster families eventually discover: Rye was never meant to leave.

Now officially adopted, Rye has found her forever home with Dylan, Katie, and their wonderful canine crew.

She joins Agape alum Charlie Brown, who was also adopted as a puppy by the couple six years ago, along with Lexi, their sweet 14 year old Pomeranian. Surrounded by experienced four legged siblings and a family that already knows the joy of rescue, Rye could not have found a better place to grow up.

While her adventure is only beginning, we already know it will be filled with everything a puppy deserves: love, laughter, new experiences, and plenty of opportunities to explore the world with her family by her side.

There is something especially meaningful about foster families who open their hearts knowing goodbye may come someday. And every once in a while, that goodbye turns into forever. We are so grateful to Dylan and Katie for giving Rye exactly the life every rescue puppy dreams of.

Congratulations to Dylan, Katie, Rye, Charlie Brown, and Lexi! We are so excited to watch Rye grow up and cannot wait to see all of the adventures that lie ahead for this beautiful family.
