Day 2-3 -Talk to Our Foster Coordinator
Foster coordinator will review your application, conduct a vet check and email you to set up a remote discussion about fostering.
Day 4-7+ - Home Visit
Foster coordinator will visit your home to see the setup and meet all occupants of the home (including pets).
Week 2+Welcome a Foster Dog!
A dog in need of a foster family comes to your home!

Ways to Foster
Fostering Until Adoption
You act as the dog's foster from intake through adoption by a forever family! This can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
Temporary Fostering
We need fosters for when our longer term fosters go on vacation or between foster homes if a dog is being moved. Subject to your availability, this could be as short as a weekend or as long as a couple of weeks.
Medical Fostering
Many of our dogs still need to be spayed or neutered after being pulled from the shelter. Sometimes, we need a short term medical foster to give the dog a week or two to recover from surgery before going to their longer term foster home.
Partners in Purpose Fosters
We need fosters for dogs waiting for or transitioning out of our Partners in Purpose training program. Fosters for this program will give dogs exposure to a household environment and the real world.
