Meet Sprout!

Looking for a loyal little shadow with a heart full of love? Meet Sprout! This handsome Dachshund may be small in size, but he’s overflowing with personality.

Sprout is happiest curled up in a cozy bed, relaxing on the couch, or watching the world go by from the window. He’s a laid-back, easygoing guy who enjoys the simple things in life and would love a home where he can be someone’s constant companion.

He has had great house manners when kept on his routine, walks nicely on a leash, and doesn’t need to be crated when left alone since he’s been very respectful in the house. He rides well in the car (especially in a doggie car seat where he can look out the window!) and responds well to gentle corrections—even if he gives you a classic Dachshund pout afterward.

Sprout enjoys the company of other dogs but doesn’t need a canine sibling to be happy. Like many good watchdogs, he’ll let you know if someone is walking by the house, but he’s friendly out in public.
