Meet Alvin!

Alvin is just about one year old and around 40 lbs. He is currently going through an intensive training program to perfect his foundational skills with our partner, Retrieving Independence (a local non-profit organization that trains service dogs in a prison-based program). Alvin has been a program standout and has proven to be a very smart boy and a quick learner!

Alvin enjoys the company of other dogs, but is definitely attached to his people!! His foster mom says he is her little shadow and always wants to be by her side. He would do well in a home with another dog, but would also be just as happy as the only pup. Some of his favorite things are chewing on bones and toys, getting spoiled with pup cups and snuggling on the couch with his foster sister and foster mom!
