The Daniel & Friends Summer Camps organization has been conducting experiential learning programs since 1996, was formally incorporated in New York, and gained 501(c)(3) non-profit status in 1999. Over the past seven years, we have been a service provider in the RochesterWorks Summer Youth Employment Program.
Executive Director Dr. John R. Walker was passed the lamp of leadership of Daniel and Friends in 2007. Forming partnerships with local Rochester, NY churches and new partnerships with Rochester businesses and owners the Daniel and Friends programs continue to expand and grow.
Providing Educational Opportunities for Youth, opportunities for Personal Development and Growth, providing Role Models for Youth, and providing
Life Skills Training for Teenagers.
Education and employment for our youth now, to prepare them for their future. Because they are our future.
